CJ Gross is The Relationship Engineer. CJ is a published author, certified Social + Emotional Intelligence coach, Trainer, Keirsey Temperament professional, and Relationship/Employment Consultant. CJ is also an experienced mediator. With a dynamic and engaging delivery, CJ coaches and trains staff and leaders to be more productive. CJ is called the relationship engineer because of his unique ability to uncover and resolve social issues that hinder employee performance and efficiency. CJ engineers employee relationships and processes to dramatically increase staff performance. Also, using Social and Emotional Intelligence coaching, CJ helps leaders become more effective. Through keynote speeches, workshops, staff retreats, and corporate coaching CJ improves organizational effectiveness and performance.
CJ started his career as a mechanical designer at General Electric (GE), where he learned how to lay out mechanical designs and run calculations. At GE, CJ learned how effective companies were run, and how important employee relationships were to a company's success. After receiving multiple corrective preventive idea awards for employee development, CJ decided to merge his engineering skills with his innate and unique understanding of people, and offer professional coaching and staff development to companies that need to improve performance and effectiveness. CJ is in the process of completing his B.A. in Organizational Management from Ashford University, through the Forbes Entrepreneurship Scholarship and creating an Economic Development Curriculum for the Maryland Transit Administration’s Purple Line project.
